Anne McInerney Development Cup Final (FT):
Patricians 45
East Glendalough 26

Congrats to Patrician Brothers Secondary Newbridge (PBS) whose senior rugby team defeated East Glendalough in the Anne McInerney Development Cup final earlier this week.

The final was hosted in De La Salle College Grounds, Palmerstown with some fabulous rugby by both sides. PBS overcame an early try concession to lead 21-12 at half time,  with scores from Patrick Corrigan, Conor Martin and Conn Kehoe.

Corrigan and Kyle O’Brien secured earkt tries in the opening minutes of the second half. But when East Glendalough tries sandwiched another O’Brien effort, PBS could really feel the pressure mounting.

However, up stepped Kevin Commane and Corrigan again, to send Diarmuid Brannock on his way to touchdown - and thereby secure the Anne McInerney Cup!
