Unchanged team for Kildare this weekend as they look to secure promotion

Cian O'Neill has named an unchanged Kildare team to face Clare in the final home game of the Lilywhites' league campaign.

Kildare will seal promotion to Division 1 if they can secure a draw or better when they face the Banner, who are also looking to make the leap to the top tier as they have five points in the league so far.

The most noteworthy omission from the starting team is David Slattery after he scored two goals off the bench against Down last week, but the Confey man left the field with five minutes to go with an injury to his shoulder. Captain Eoin Doyle has been named at centre-back despite going off with an injury late on in the win up in Newry.
