Update: U21 B Championship Hurling Quarter Final from the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick
By Rose Barrett 15:02 Saturday 14th of July 2018

Kildare 2-06

Kerry 2-15

A positive start was needed, and that was just what Kildare U21 hurlers got with a couple of great points by James Burke to take Kildare's tally to 2-6 after 11 minutes into the second half.

Whilst a Burke shot on goal was brilliantly saved, his cousin Jack Sheridan took advantage of the sliotar coming out and buried it in the back of the net, his second goal of the game.

There's still a 9 point deficit but a far more positive start to the second half is needed now.
