Moorefield footballer Eanna O'Connor has one of the best strikes of a ball off the ground in Kildare, as evidenced in his performances that have helped Moorefield reach the All-Ireland Club SFC semi-final stage this year.
However, no matter how well the Kerry native can strike a ball, it was evident that he was no match for the full force of Storm Eleanor. The video below shows Eanna kicking the ball against the almighty gusts brought by the storm that hit Ireland earlier this week, with winds of up to 110kmh battering coastal areas.
O'Connor smashes the ball into the teeth of the wind and calmly waits for it to come back before controlling it again.
The Moorefield player will be back in action next month when his club take on either Corofin or Fulham Irish in the All-Ireland semi-final.
