By Kim O'Leary A two-day blood donation drive is to commence in Naas today, and it is being hosted by the Irish Blood Transfusion Service. The blood drive is set to take place in Scoil Brhride, Sallins Road, Naas with donations being accepted from 3pm to 5 pm. The clinic will also take place tomorrow from 7pm to 9pm. Those wishing to donate blood must be over 18 and they may be asked to provide I.D. such as a passport or a drivers licence. Many Irish hospitals are also seeking those with O- blood type due to recent shortages after the Easter weekend and those with this blood type would be very welcome to attend.
