After a cold and frosty start, it will be a generally dry morning for Co Kildare except for some odd showers later in the day with temperatures set to plunge as low as -1C overnight.
Generally dry for the morning except for the odd shower along the east coast. Some brightness at first but cloud increasing during the day and patchy rain /drizzle developing for the afternoon /evening. Highs of 8 to 9degrees in light breezes.

A clear cold night ahead with lowest temperatures of -1 to +1 degrees. Frost in places.
Wednesday night: There'll be the odd shower but most parts of the country will be dry for the evening /night.
Thursday: A bright fresh day with a good deal of dry weather (but also occasional showers along western and northern counties). Highs of 7 to 10 degrees in westerly breezes.
Friday: A dry start to the day but becoming wet and windy as heavy rain spreads eastwards and southerly winds strengthen.
