A driver involved in a collision on the M50 yesterday afternoon was arrested by Gardaí at the scene for a couple of serious motoring offences.
Gardaí spoke to the driver at the scene of the collision, and when asked to present a driver's licence the motorist produced a fake document. Gardaí subsequently drug tested the driver who tested positively for driving under the influence of drugs, and Gardaí arrested the person.
The car was also impounded and the motorist will have to face a court hearing.
