Several M9 drivers have been hit with fines and penalty points for speeding, with one motorist pulled over for being on the phone while driving on the busy motorway yesterday.
The Naas Roads Policing Unit has said that it carried out an operation to tackle speeding on the M9, whereby they pulled over a number of motorists who were found to be driving at 150km in a 120km zone.
The motorists were given fines and penalty points at the scene, and one motorist was found to be using a phone at the time they were pulled over by the Naas Roads Policing unit.
