Tiglin Ladies Rehabilitation Centre to benefit from Network Ireland Kildare Branch Annual Luncheon 2018

Kildare business women support TIGLIN female residents By Rose B O’Donoghue Last week, we featured the visit of Network Ireland Kildare members to TIGLIN woman’s centre at Brittas Bay, Co Wicklow, and the hospitable welcome we received by support workers and residents alike. The ladies centre is a lovely ‘home’ catering for 12-13 residents max, with a polytunnel full of vegetables managed by the girls and lovely natural flower gardens adding colour to the outside area. There’s a small playground for visiting children and a fun Pirate’s Island. Network Ireland Kildare Branch is hosting this year’s annual charity luncheon in aid of TIGLIN, specifically for the ladies centre at Brittas Bay, to add to their educational and recreational facilities. WE were deeply moved by the life stories of the women in TIGLIN, and equally moved by the welcome and hospitality extended to us. We believe funds will greatly aid the activities of TIGLIN’s ladies’ rehabilitation programme and will help these residents and many more to come, to find themselves and to know their worth.   So please, if you’d like to donate or purchase a ticket to the Network Ireland Kildare Branch Ladies Luncheon on November 9 at the Osprey, please contact Pauline Forde at 086 233 2399  or log onto
