Last weekend saw the 37th hosting of Dunlavin Festival of Arts. The good weather saw crowds flock to the small West Wicklow village and enjoy outdoor entertainment for the afternoon. Alas, Sunday saw a return to heavy rainfall but with every cloud comes a silver lining - the bad weather drove crowds indoors to appreciate the many exhibitions on display.

The Arts and Crafts Fair hosted in the Imaal Hall was packed, whilst visitors then sought out comfort in the local cafés at the Market Square. See this week's Kildare Post for full photographic coverage. Amongst the many popular exhibits was a selection of designs by Sean Rousse, made entirely from waste scrap metal, nuts and bolts!
