Kildare Co Council crews busy responding to fallen trees and flooded roads

Kildare Co Council has asked members of the public to immediately report any fallen trees or flooded routes in the county. There were reports that the Ballymore Eustace to N81 road was flooded. Passers-by also tweeted about a car accident near Hill of Allen. A KildareNow reader told us on Facebook: "Tree down opposite Confey Tyres. ESB line came with it. Be careful if your coming from Confey GAA side to Leixlip. Not affecting entrance to Glendale Meadows." Kildare County Council has issued two emergency telephone lines to log incidents that workers need to respond to. Contact the Customer Care team on (045) 980 200 or customercare@kildarecoco.ie from 9am-5pm. Outside of office hours and in the case of an emergency, contact 1890 500 333. ukandirl.pngNew
