Naas hairdresser chasing 'perfect looks' by undergoing various forms of cosmetic surgery

A hairdresser from Kildare is aiming to reach the utopia of achieving 'perfect looks' by spending vast amounts of money on getting cosmetic surgery done. Damien Nolan, a 28-year-old hairdresser from Naas, has spent over €8,500 on various different surgeries to change his looks, which has included things such as Botox, cheek fillers and having his lips done. He currently works in the Hair and Beauty Bar in Clane, and he has no plans to stop going under the knife in search of looking pristine. “I’ve had my lips done. I get Botox done every two months. I pay €500 every time and €300 for my lips every three months,” Damien told the Daily Star. “I’ve had cheek fillers. I’m looking into getting a filler in my nose to smooth out my nose. That will be my next thing. I’m planning, as well, on getting veneers soon.” “Every time I get my Botox done, I get my eyebrows lifted higher each time. I want to get the permanent cheek implants and I would love to get a chin implant.” “At the moment I don’t look abnormal but I’m not where I want to be with my looks but I don’t want to look ridiculous either.” [caption id="attachment_91677" align="alignnone" width="604"]Damien back in 2009. He also states that after the first time he got a bit of work done it became an addiction. “I found when I lived over in London that everyone just looked so pristine and as a hairdresser I was very exposed to people with cosmetic surgery a lot,” he said. “I liked the look of it so when I came home to Ireland, I realised I could afford it more so I started playing around with my features.” “After the first time it became an addiction.”   Undergoing cosmetic surgery and drastically changing your looks can raise eyebrow from many quarters, and the hairdresser admits that his family haven't quite gotten use to his new look yet. “My family sort of said that I need to nip it in the bud,” he revealed. “If I had the money I would save tooth and nail to get stuff done. If someone wants to look like a Barbie doll or a Ken doll, then go for it.”
