Light show inspired by wildlife starts tomorrow at Dublin Zoo

Photos by Patrick Bolger. This winter, Dublin Zoo is home to “Wild Lights”, a magical night-time event featuring giant colourful lanterns and illuminated sculptures, inspired by wildlife. [caption id="attachment_192421" align="alignnone" width="300"] The event is open to the public from Friday, 3rd November until Sunday, 7th January and will run from 5pm – 9pm.[/caption]   [caption id="attachment_192423" align="alignnone" width="300"] The enchanted lantern trail through Dublin Zoo will feature beautifully crafted silk lanterns in the form of a pride of lions, orangutans, tigers, giraffe, monkeys and much more!
Other highlights include a 16-metre high porcelain elephant tower and a 30-metre long Chinese dragon.[/caption] [caption id="attachment_192424" align="alignnone" width="300"] Visitors to this must-see event will enjoy Chinese performers as well as themed food and warm drinks. Then they can visit the marketplace featuring handmade crafts from Chinese artisans.

Tickets must be pre-booked online in advance and are not available to purchase at the gate at Dublin Zoo.
