Celbridge model to compete as a finalist in Top Model Ireland competition this weekend

By Kim O'Leary Photos by Des O'Neill A promising young model living in Celbridge is hoping to scoop the ultimate prize of travelling to the U.K. to represent Ireland in the Top Model Worldwide grand final as she is set to compete in the final of Top Model Ireland this Saturday, 20 January. Monica Tyburczy, 22, is currently living in Celbridge and she is also a qualified Make-up Artist having studied at Vanity X Make-up Academy in Dublin. Speaking to KildareNow, Monica said that she is very excited for the upcoming final. She said: “I have always wanted to model, since having play fashion shows with my friends while I was still a little girl to actually doing real fashion shows now. I have been a freelance model since I was 15 or 16, and after all those years I have decided to enter Top Model Ireland as it is my dream to be working with big brands all over the world and also to be able to travel.” Monica has also undergone training and model boot camps with Top Model with the most recent boot camp earlier this week lasting two days from Saturday 13 to Sunday 14 January.
