Yesterday dozens of trucks, tractors and other unusual vehicles rolled into Naas Racecourse for a very special Truck Run in support of a brave little girl battling cancer.

Little Erin Kenna from Kill in Co Kildare was born to Joe and Theresa Kenna on April 29 last and she was diagnosed with leukemia at just a few months old, and she would go on to have a bone marrow transplant as part of her cancer treatment. Earlier this month a charity boxing match involving several well-known Kildare boxers raised nearly €25,000.

On Sunday May 26 the Naas Truck Run successfully raised €2,420.15. Organiser Stephen Valet would like to thank everyone who supported Prineces Erin and a big thank you to Naas Racecourse Tom Ryan and Jackie and Sargent Brian Loughlen from Naas Garda Station.

The organisers would also like to say a special thank you to Joe and Theresa Kenna for letting them hold the day for their little princess Erin as she bravely battles leukemia.
