Caragh Bridge to be opened soon

Kildare County Council says its is proposing to re-open Caragh Bridge 'in the coming weeks'.

Due to structural, containment and width issues associated with the bridge a weight restriction of 3.5 tonnes and a width restriction of 2.4m will apply.

Also traffic lights and kerbing, restricting the width of the road will be in place at Thomastown.
