Construction to start on new Naas primary school this month

Kildare North Labour Representative Emmet Stagg has been in further contact with the Minister for Education in relation to the construction of the New Mercy Convent Primary School in Naas.

The Minister has now advised Mr Stagg that the Supplementary Tender Report for the project has been approved and subject to no issues arising the project is due to commence construction before the end of this month.

Once construction commences it will take approximately 24 months for the project to be completed.

Kildare North Labour Representative Emmet Stagg has welcomed the positive news from the Minister for Education that construction of the New Mercy Convent Primary School will commence before the end of the month and he congratulated the principal of the school the board of management and parent teachers association on their success in getting the project to construction.
