The death has occurred of John Gleeson, Celbridge, Kildare / Thurles, Tipperary.

Gleeson, John (Celbridge, Co. Kildare and formerly of Thurles, Co. Tipperary) May 19th., 2025, (peacefully) surrounded by his loving family in the excellent care of the staff at Mater Private Hospital, Dublin.

Beloved husband of Jackie (née Bracken) and adored father of Suzie, Mark and Alicia and a cherished grandad of Cillian, Cían, Caelan, Luke and Max.

Predeceased by his parents and his brother Michael.

Deeply missed by his loving wife, son, daughters, grandchildren, sons-in-law Mark and Kavan, daughter-in-law Meghan, brothers Brian, Brendan, Dermot and Ken, sisters Mairéad, Valerie, Barbara and Helen, best friend Gerry, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Ardclough Road, Celbridge on Thursday evening from 5 pm (May 22nd) with removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Celbridge arriving at 7 pm.

Logan (née Kealy), Brigid (Bridge), Curryhills, Prosperous, Co. Kildare, May 18th 2025, peacefully in the tender care of the staff of The I.C.U. Unit, Beacon Hospital.

Beloved wife of the late Paddy, grandmother of the late Dan and sister of the late Mai and Jim. Deeply regretted by her loving daughters Pauline, Siobhan, Rosemary and Catriona (Kate), sons-in-law, sister Phil, sister-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and all those in the Pitch and Putt Community.

Reposing at Oliver Reilly's Funeral Home, Prosperous (W91T62P) on Wednesday from 4pm - 8pm, with evening prayers at 7pm. Removal from her residence by Oliver Reilly Funeral Directors on Thursday at 11:30am to arrive at The Church of Our Lady & St. Joseph, Prosperous for 12 noon funeral mass, followed by burial in Killybegs Cemetery, Prosperous.

The death has occurred of David Madden, Hilltop House, Carrickbanagher, Drumfin, Sligo / Kill, Kildare.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of David Madden, beloved husband of Jane and devoted father of Riona and Lucia.

David was a passionate biker, a gifted poet, and a talented artist. More than that, he was a loyal friend and man who offered kindness and strength to many during their hardest times.

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife and daughters, by his family, and by his dear friends and colleagues.

Reposing at McGowan’s Crematorium and Funeral Home, Collooney, Co. Sligo (F91AKW5) on Thursday 22nd May from 4:30pm to 6:00pm.

A Celebration of David’s Life will take place at McGowan’s Crematorium and Funeral Home on Friday 23rd May at 11:00am followed by Cremation.

Malone, Thomas (Tom), Halverstown, Caragh, Co. Kildare, May 20th 2025, peacefully at Tallaght Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Pre-deceased by his parents Laurence and Mary, brothers Paddy and John, sister Kathleen, sister-in-law Elizabeth, brother-in-law Jimmy, nephews Declan and James and grandson Ciaráin.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary, children Deirdre (Power), David, Larry, Finbarr and Conor, daughters-in-law Mary, Annmarie, Margo and Claire, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters Mary and Betty, brothers Fr.
