The death has occurred of James (Jimmy) BYRNE, Naas, Kildare / Kilnamanagh, Dublin.

Byrne (Naas, Co. Kildare and formerly of Kilnamanagh, Dublin 24) – October 18, 2025, (peacefully), surrounded by his loving family, at Naas General Hospital.

James (Jimmy), beloved husband of Carol and dear father of Neil, Alan and Gary; Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, brothers Dominic, Joe, Paschal, Noel and Eamonn, aunt Sr. Kathleen, daughters-in-law Tara and Clodagh, Alan’s partner Danny, brothers-in-law Tommy and Tony, sisters-in-law Bernie, Amy, Jess, Gillian and Rathaela, grandchildren Nathan, Chloe, Sophie, Ryan and Ben, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing on Tuesday from 5pm to 7pm with Prayers at 6.30pm at Murphy Brothers Funeral Home, Church Lane, Naas, W91 VY71.

Removal on Wednesday to the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Ballycane arriving for 11am Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to St. Corban’s Cemetery. Family flowers only please.

Phyllis Dawson née Kelly, Lawn Court, Rathbride, Kildare. Formerly Milltown, Kildare. Peacefully, 20th October 2025, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Wife of the late Michael. Phyllis will be sadly missed by her loving sons and daughters Michael, Joe, Clare, Paddy, Larry, Sandra and Barry, sons in law Pat, Frank and Paul, daughters in law Miriam, Mary and Claire, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister Maura, sister in law Annice, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Removal by Glennons Funeral Directors on Thursday morning to arrive at The Carmelite Church, Kildare Town for requiem mass at 11am.

The death has occurred of Kevin Dempsey, Celbridge, Kildare.

Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the excellent care of the I.C.U staff at St. James’ Hospital, Dublin.

Beloved brother of Maureen, Michael, Joanne and Pauline.

Predeceased by his cherished parents PJ and Phil and brothers Brian and Sean. Sadly missed by his loving brother, sisters, aunt Maureen, cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends in Ireland and Thailand.

A service to celebrate Kevin’s life will be held on Wednesday afternoon (October 22) in Glasnevin Crematorium at 14.30 pm.

The death has occurred of Seán Gorman Cloncurry, Enfield, Co. Kildare, October 18th 2025.

In the care of Redwood Ward and the Palliative Care team, Connolly Hospital, and in the presence of his loving family.

Seán will always be loved, and greatly missed, by his wife and best friend Rene (nee Greville): his family Maria, Feena, Maeve, Eithne, Enda, Breeda and Regina; his daughter in law Kate, sons in law Noel, Michael, Patrick, James, Ollie and David, and his twenty grandchildren: his sisters Kathleen and Olive, brothers in law, nieces, nephew, cousins, great neighbours and friends. And most especially, his clubmates in Cappagh GAA & Camogie Club.

Seán will be reposing in his home (A83 PN83) this Tuesday, October 21 from 11 am with rosary at 8pm.

Requiem Mass on Wednesday October 22 in Church of the Nativity, Newtown (A83 YY49) at 11 am and burial immediately afterwards to Cloncurry Cemetery.
