Kildare woman who passed recently remembered as 'a lovely lady'

The late Barbara Dunne

A Kildare woman who passed recently has been fondly remembered as 'a lovely lady.'

Barbara Dunne, Rahoonbeak, Colbinstown, Dunlavin, Co Kildare passed peacefully at Naas Hospital on January 17 last.

Barbara is predeceased by her loving husband Gerald. She is sadly missed by her loving daughters Katrina and Barbara Jnr., sons Shaun, Gerald Jnr., Justin and Robert, grandchildren Gerry, Kiera, Oisin, Josh and Emily-Joy, son-in-law John, daughters-in-law Chloe and Lisa, extended family, relatives and friends.

May Barbara rest in peace.

Barbara will be reposing at Anderson & Leahy's Funeral Home, Henry Street, Newbridge on Tuesday from 4pm with prayers at 7pm.

The removal will take place on Wednesday morning at 10am to arrive at St. Mary and St. Lawrence Church, Crookstown for 11am Mass.

Funeral afterwards to Newlands Cross Crematorium arriving at approx 1.30pm and which can be viewed on https://www.dctrust.ie/location/newlands-cross/chapel-webstream.html

Tributes paid to Barbara on RIP.ie include: “Sincere sympathy to the Dunne family and your extended family on the sad loss of Barbara a lovely lady, Rest in Peace.”

And: “Sincere sympathy to you all on the loss of your mother Barbara. May she rest in peace.”

While another mourner wrote: “Sincere condolences to the Dunne family. Barbara was such a wonderful person. Our thoughts are with you all.”

And another added: “So sorry to hear of Barbara's sad passing, Barbara loved all her dogs and it was always a pleasure to see her. To all her family and friends I am thinking of you all at this difficult time.”
