Eadestown playground plans now open for inspection

The newly appointed Deputy Mayor for Naas is appealing for people to make submissions on a new playground for Eadestown.
Cllr Carmel Kelly said: " I think it is hugely important that as many parents/families as possible make submissions/observations on the playground. Firstly, to say they support the provision of a playground in the area and secondly if they have any specific observations that an area or piece of equipment within the playground be accessible for children with disabilities. Or that the playground reflect in some way the unique history of the area."
It is proposed that a playground is developed at Eadestown GAA Club, Tipper South, Co Kildare.
The playground, to cater for children ranging in ages from one to 12, will contain a range of equipment, including swings, slides , see-saws, multiplay units, adventure trail, sand play, seating and landscaping features.
Plans and particulars of the proposed development will be available for inspection or purchase at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy during the period from Tuesday 10 July 2018 until Friday 10 August 2018 from:
Kildare County Council, Community and Culture Department (Level 7), Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas.
Submissions and observations with respect to the proposed development and dealing with the proper planning may be made by email to [email protected] or in writing to Simon Wallace, Senior Executive Parks Superintendent, Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas before 4.00 p.m. on Friday 10 August 2018. Submissions should be clearly headed “Eadestown Playground”.
