"Spectacular" light show coming to Kildare visitor attraction

Land of Light is unlike anything hosted at The Irish National Stud & Gardens
The Irish National Stud & Gardens is preparing to welcome a spectacular new attraction this winter, with its first full seasonal light show set to transform the Kildare landmark into an illuminated wonderland.
Land of Light will open on Sunday, November 15, bringing an extraordinary after-dark experience to St Fiachra’s Gardens, featuring dazzling illuminations, cutting-edge lasers and spectacular light installations.
For the first time, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the gardens in an entirely different way, with the 1.4-kilometre illuminated trail celebrating the beauty, heritage and spirit of the Irish National Stud & Gardens through light, colour and imagination.
Running every weekend until December 22, the experience promises something for all ages, whether families looking for a festive evening out, couples seeking a memorable date night or groups of friends enjoying a winter gathering. The trail will conclude with a fun fair, adding another element of entertainment to the experience.
In a commitment to accessibility and inclusion, a dedicated sensory evening will take place on Friday, November 27. The specially designed event will feature reduced noise, music and strobe lighting, with trained and understanding staff available to support visitors who may benefit from a more sensory-friendly environment.
Amanda Kelly, Sales and Marketing Manager at the Irish National Stud & Gardens, said the event would bring a completely new experience to visitors.
"Land of Light is unlike anything we've ever hosted here at The Irish National Stud & Gardens. It brings a whole new kind of magic to our visitors this winter."
She added that the attraction was proud to offer an experience that was beautiful, inclusive and memorable for all ages.
Tickets for all dates, including the sensory evening, are now available online at www.landoflight.ie.
