Brian Flanagan's men are coming off a chaotic encounter with Derry which saw two red cards, two black cards and ultimately a disappointing defeat. They face Cavan, who are without a point in Allianz Football League Division 2, in Kingpsan Breffni this Sunday, February 22.
Throw-in is set for 3pm in a massive game for both sides, Kildare have three points from their three games while Cavan are without one, a lot at stake here for all concerned.

A win for Kildare would be massive and would certainly be a major boost in their bid to retain Division 2 status, while for Cavan a loss would see them in deep relegation trouble, they have lost out to Meath, somewhat unfortunately it has to be said — 1-18 to 2-17; lost to Cork 2-17 to 0-24 while last Sunday they lost away to Tyrone 2-23 to 1-14.

After losing to Derry last week it will certainly be interesting to see what, if any, changes Kildare make to their starting line-up.
Kevin Feely came off, late on, last week with a slight 'tightening' we were told while Darragh Kirwan and Neil Flynn, both made their first league starts, following early season injuries.
