Clane forward Brian McLoughlin tops the scoring charts for the Kildare footballers while hurling free-taker Jack Sheridan ranks above the rest for the small ball Lilies.
McLoughlin has been a revelation for Brian Flanagan's side having racked up 1-16 in Kildare's games against Tyrone, Offaly and Derry. The Clane man was in the GAA.ie Team of the Week on both occasions following The Lilies' first two games of their league campaign and, in their most recent clash with Derry, he got his first goal while wearing the white of Kildare. He will be hoping to continue his fine form when The Lilies visit Kingspan Breffni to face a Cavan side who are in desperate need of a result following three defeats in three so far.

Young Sarsfields Ben Loakman shot himself into second place with an outrageous 0-10 against Derry, which brought his season total to 0-13. Alex Beirne with 1-9, Eoin Cully's 1-5 and Callum Bolton's 0-5 made up the rest of The Lilies' top five.
In the absence of 2025 Joe McDonagh Cup top-scorer David Qualter, Naas' Jack Sheridan has stood over set-pieces for Brian Dowling's side and has amassed 0-18 from their first two games, including 0-9 with six frees in their outstanding league over Antrim. The Lilies sit on two points in Allianz Hurling League Division 1B with a game against 2024 All-Ireland Hurling champions Clare coming this weekend.
Second in the hurlers' scoring ranks was Man of the Match against Antrim Muiris Curtin, who grabbed 2-2 in a dazzling display at full-forward.
