Ongoing fuel protests are now into their fourth day with massive convoys continuing to impact Kildare roads and commuters. The local roads currently impacted are the N7/M7, which are closed in both directions near Kill while the M9 is blocked between junctions 2 and 4 according to the most recent update from Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII). For commuters into Dublin, the M50 is closed between junction 4 and the interchange with the M1, which will impact traffic heading to Dublin Airport. The M50 northbound is blocked between junctions 5 and 6. The M4/N4 is blocked eastbound between Lucan East and Liffey Valley.

TII has said that their network operations are working closely with the Garda Traffic Core to assist in managing the on-going traffic distribution.
TII has requested that all road users leave the hard shoulder available for emergency services. The protest is mobile at times and can impact different regions at different times. Both Dublin Bus and Bus Éireann services continue to be significantly impacted while the Luas Green Line services are currently not operating in Dublin city centre with Red Line services continuing as normal.
