Bourke, Sr. Josephine, February 5th, 2023, peacefully, on her 100th birthday, in the loving care of the Staff and Sisters of Catherine Mc Auley House, Beaumont, Dublin 9. (Formerly Mercy Sisters, St. Brendan’s Drive, Coolock, Dublin and Coonough, Carbury, Co. Kildare.) Predeceased by her sisters Sr. Finian, Nuala and Eva, brothers Dermot, Seamus, Harry, Padraig, Desmond and Joe. Sadly missed by her Mercy Community, her niece Maire Holton, nephews Philip and Annraidh, her extended family, relatives and friends.
Reposing at the Convent of Mercy, St. Brendan’s Drive, Coolock, D05 K7F1 on Thursday February 9th from 3.30pm to 6.30 pm with Evening Prayer. Funeral Mass on Friday February 10th at 11am in St. Brendan’s Parish Church, Coolock, followed by burial in the Community Cemetery, Inchicore.
