Accused of not delivering goods and allegedly taking Kildare customer’s money

ALLEGATIONS

A man was accused of making financial gain by deception at Naas District Court.

Before the court on Thursday, February 16, was Patrick Kenneally, with an address at 7 Leonard’s Court, Dunnamaggan, County Kilkenny.

It was alleged that the 31-year-old was due to deliver doors to a man in Kildare town on two separate dates in 2021 in exchange for payment, but failed to follow up on his promise.

The total amount of money that the alleged injured party allegedly lost to Mr Kenneally was €2,400.

A book of evidence was served on Mr Kenneally at Naas Courthouse, and Judge Desmond Zaidan sent his case forward for trial by jury at the next sittings of Naas Circuit Criminal Court, which will commence on March 7.
