Sallins Luke Killian lines up a shot at the Round Towers posts as Mikey Kelly attempts to get a challenge in during the 2025 IFC
Sallins had little difficulty at Cedral St Conleth's Park this evening, as they easily disposed of Round Towers in the National Electrical Wholesalers IFC, Group B, Round 3 game.
Sallins advance to the quarter-final as do Castledermot who pipped Towers on head-to-head scores after they (Castledermot) defeated Ballyteague this evening also; The Larks still progress to the pre-quarter.
Back to Sallins and it was, not for the first time a game dominated by the Dalton boys, Colm hitting an impressive 0-11 with James knocking up 0-5.
The winners led at the break 0-12 to 0-6 after putting on an impressive display led by centre forward Colm Dalton.
The second half was more of the same and while Towers gave it their all they were never going to threaten the favourites to go all the way in this intermediate championsip.
Final score: Sallins 0-20 Castledermot 0-10.
In the other game this evenign in this group Castledermot defeated Ballyteague 4-16 to 2-9.
