Naas garda station
A man detained by gardaí defecated on the floor of the cell, Naas District Court was told.
Pawel Sucharski, 41, whose address was given as 65 Glendara, Kill, is being prosecuted for an alleged incident of causing damage at Naas garda station on February 16 last.
Sgt Mary Meade said that the gardaí were called to the Old House in Kill, where the defendant had been refused entry.
She claimed he was intoxicated and unsteady.
It was also claimed that he became very abusive towards the gardaí and was detained.
The court heard that he defecated on the ground and wiped his faeces all over the garda station cell walls.
The area necessitated cleaning as a result.
It was also claimed that the defendant ripped the foam from a mattress in the cell.
The defendant did not appear in court and Judge Desmond Zaidan issued a warrant for his arrest.
