Newbridge
Actlon needs to be taken to complete school projects in Newbridge.
Local Fianna Fáil Senator Fiona O’Loughlin has called for movement on the school completion programme in Newbridge.
O’Loughlin said “I have been working with local schools who are experiencing difficulties in terms of the school completion programme.
“There are five schools in Newbridge that do not have the required staff for the school completion programme.”
The senator added: “They have not had the staff since the start of the school year. It is very important that something is done to provide the staff, or to provide funding so the schools can spend the moneys allocated on other ways of supporting the children who really need it. I called for the same in the Seanad.”
