An online player in Kildare has got their weekend off to a flying start after winning the top prize of €500,000 in Friday’s EuroMillions Plus draw.
The online player became the biggest winner of the night in Ireland after purchasing their ticket in App or online at www.lottery.ie.
The player from Co. Kildare has become the latest player in Ireland to win the EuroMillions Plus top prize in 2023 and the National Lottery has confirmed that a notification to the user’s online account and a separate email has now been sent to the lucky ticket holder.
The winning numbers in Friday’s (19th May) EuroMillions Plus draw were: 02, 03, 23, 33, 35.
There was no winner of Friday night’s EuroMillions draw which was worth just over €54 million. Tuesday’s (23rd May) EuroMillions jackpot is now heading for an estimated €65 million.
With over 48,000 Irish winners in last night’s EuroMillions draw, a spokesperson for the National Lottery has called on all players nationwide to check their tickets: “The €54 million jackpot up for grabs wasn’t won but over 48,000 players in Ireland have won prizes, in particular, one lucky player in Co. Kildare who won the €500,000 EuroMillions Plus top prize. We are specifically calling on our online players in Kildare to check their emails today to see if they are the latest winner of this prize. The winner should make contact with the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize.”
Meanwhile, the National Lottery have reminded Lotto players that tonight’s life-changing €9 million (estimated) Lotto draw is extra special with bigger prizes up for grabs this weekend. An additional €1 million has been added to the Lotto Plus Raffle prize fund which means that all winners of the Lotto Plus Raffle will take home the usual €500 PLUS share an extra €1 MILLION between them.
Lotto Plus Raffle typically sees around 100 winners of €500 in every draw but on Saturday night, players are set for a boost in their winnings. By topping up the raffle prize fund by €1 million, the National Lottery predicts that each winner of Saturday's Lotto Plus Raffle draw will receive between €8,000 - €12,500, depending on the number of winners.
