KIDARE: New pedestrian crossing is needed in Naas

The Church of the Irish Martyrs, Ballycane, Naas

There has been a call for another pedestrian crossing in Naas.

Local councillor Bill Clear wants it provided at Ballycane Road.

He wants Kildare County Council to investigate the feasibility of placing a crossing between the Ballymore Road roundabout and Blessington Road.

“This would facilitate the large number of residents that live at Oak Park, Ard na Laoi and Cluain Aoibhinn (who walk)  towards the town centre in Naas as well as schools,” he said.
