UPDATE: Petrol bomb accused residing near Kildare-Dublin border to face trial

ALLEGATION

A defendant accused of throwing a petrol bomb through the window of a female relative's home has been sent forward for trial.

Back in May, Naas District Court was told that Myles Connors, with an address listed as Room 308, Finnstown Castle Hotel, Newcastle Road, Lucan, County Dublin, allegedly committed the offence at a property in Blessington at approximately 11pm on June 28 last.

The 22-year-old denies the allegations made against him.

On the latest court date (Thursday, September 8) Mr Connors appeared before Judge Desmond Zaidan at Naas District Court.

After a book of evidence was served on Mr Connors, his case was sent forward for trial to the next sittings of Bray Circuit Criminal Court, which will commence on October 17.

Judge Zaidan remanded the accused of continuing bail until this date.
