RIP to the late John Connolly, Rose Dunne (née Byrne) and Noreen Faney (née Regan).

The death has occurred of John Connolly

Formerly of New York, USA / Monasterevin, Kildare.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret.

Much loved father of Séan and Kevin.

Deeply regretted by his loving family; daughters-in-law Sandra and Kathleen, grandchildren Niamh, Rachel, Amy and Laura, his brother Denis, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

May John's gentle soul Rest In Peace.

Reposing at his son Séan's home at 15 Togher Grove, Monasterevin, on Wednesday, October 11, from 3pm to 7pm.

Rosary recital at 7pm. 

Requiem mass on Thursday, October 12, at 11am in St Peter and Paul's Church, Monasterevin, followed by burial in St Evin's Cemetery, Monasterevin.

House private on Thursday morning please.

The death has occurred of Rose Dunne (née Byrne)

Griffinstown, Grangecon, Wicklow, W91 X7D3 / Kildare.

Died October 10, 2023 peacefully at Naas General Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of the Late Marty.

Deeply regretted by her loving sons Willie and Martin, daughters Marcella and Carmel, brother Michael, sons in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends.  

May Rose Rest In Peace.

Reposing at her family home on Thursday from 2pm until 8pm with prayers at 7.30pm.

Removal from there on Friday morning to The Church of St Oliver Plunkett, Grangecon arriving for 11am funeral mass followed by burial in Ballinure Churchyard. 

The death has occurred of Noreen Faney (née Regan)

Lakeside Park, Newbridge, Kildare / Swinford, Mayo / Sligo.

Peacefully (October 9, 2023), surround by her loving family, at Lourdsville Nursing Home.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph and mother of the late Josephine. Loving mother of Joseph, Michael, John, Imelda, Sarah and Angela and grandmother of Aoife and Aidan.

Noreen will be sadly missed by her loving family, sister Mary, brother Paddy, daughters in law, nephews, niece, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Glennons Funeral Home, 32 Main Street, Newbridge on Wednesday from 5pm concluding with rosary at 7pm.

Removal on Thursday morning to arrive at St Conleth’s Parish Church, Newbridge, for requiem mass at 11am.

Burial afterwards in Kilvarnet Cemetery, Sligo at approximately 4pm.

The death has occurred of Catherine (Kitty) Gunning (née McNamee)

Sarto Park, Naas, Kildare / Robertstown, Kildare.

October 8, 2023, (peacefully), surrounded by her loving family, at Tallaght University Hospital, Catherine (Kitty), beloved wife of Frank and dear mother of Joe, Francis, Finbar and Chris.

Sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughters-in-law Geraldine, Siobhán, Siobhán and Susan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren Jeffery, Amelia, Ruairí, Jude, Evie, Catherine, Freya, Ciara and Aleya, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing on Wednesday from 5pm to 8pm with Prayers at 6pm at Murphy Brothers Funeral Home, Church Lane, Naas, W91 VY71.

Removal on Thursday to the Church of Our Lady and St David, Naas arriving for 10am Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to St Corban’s Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Dónal O'Neill

Moyglare Abbey, Maynooth, Kildare / Edenderry, Offaly.

October 10, 2023.

Dónal died peacefully after a short illness in the wonderful care of the nursing and medical staff in St Elizabeth’s Ward, Mater Private. 

Predeceased by his beloved father Danny.

Dónal was much loved by his wife Olive, daughters Rachael, Róisín and Máire, mother Rosie, siblings Peter, Eddie and Vicki, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, his niece and nephews, extended family, friends and work colleagues and of course his dog Honey. 

Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Oliver Reilly's Funeral Home, Leinster Street, Maynooth (W23 V99E) on Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm with evening prayers at 7pm.

Removal from his residence on Thursday at approx 11am to arrive at St Mary's Church, Maynooth for 11.30am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Laraghbryan Cemetery, Maynooth.

The death has occurred of Michael Rooney

Loughbollard, Clane, Kildare / Coill Dubh, Kildare.

 October 10, 2023, peacefully at the Hermitage Clinic, beloved father of the late Baby Zerenna.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Patricia, children Georgina, Natasha and Stuart, sons-in-law Niall and Vernon, daughter-in-law Maria, adored grandchildren Luke, Cian and Eva, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Rest In Peace.

Michael will be reposing at Oliver Reilly's Funeral Home, Woods House, Clane, (W91YPX4) on Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm. Removal from his residence on Thursday at approx. 10am to arrive at St Patrick and St Brigid's Church, Clane for 10.30am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Mainham Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Mary Whelan O'Sullivan (née O'Brien)

Fr Killian Crescent, Edenderry, Offaly, R35 K023 / Rathangan, Kildare / Ballinteer, Dublin.

Mary passed away peacefully in her 90th year in the tender loving care of Bethany House, Nursing Home, Tyrrellspass surrounded by her loving family. 

She is predeceased by her husbands Dinny and Michael, daughter Ann, brothers Noel and Veo, sister Kathleen and nephew Declan. 

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sons Dennis and Michael, granddaughter Ella, grandson-in-law Enda, daughters-in-law Kathleen and Maureen, cherished great grandsons Aaron and J.J., grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May Mary Rest in Peace.

Reposing at her granddaughter's home Annaville House, Killaderry, Daingean, Co. Offaly (Eircode R35 K023) this Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm  with Rosary at 8pm.  Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11am in St Mary's Church, Edenderry followed by cremation at Newlands Cross, Crematorium at 1.30pm approx. 

The family would like to thank you for your kindness and support at this sad and difficult time.
