A total of 26 residential units have been proposed for an area in Monasterevin.
Documents lodged with Kildare County Council show that applicant Brook Advantage Ltd intends to construct the development at Oldgrange, Rathangan Road in Monasterevin.
The proposed development would begin with the demolition of existing dwelling and garage, followed by the construction of the 26 dwellings.
Specifically, these dwellings would be made up of: one detached bungalow; one two-storey terrace block containing two three-bed houses and three two-bed houses; one two-storey terrace block containing two three-bed houses and two two-bed houses, including bin and bike stores to mid-terrace units; eight two-storey four-bed semi-detached houses; four three-bed semi-detached houses; and one two-storey apartment block containing four one-bed units and adjoining bin store.
Planning permission is also being sought for: a new recessed access road off the R414 with vehicular connection and pedestrian connections to Oldgrangewood housing scheme; the provision of new cycle lane and footpath to boundary of the R414; a footpath on R414 to connect to Ball Alley crossroads; the decommissioning of existing septic tank; a connection to existing foul water sewer at Oldgrangewood housing scheme; and all associated ancillary site-works.
The date received is listed as October 10 last, while the submission-by and due dates are listed as November 13 and December 4.
According to the business website vision-net.ie, Brook Advantage Ltd was established in May of 2015.
The company has an address listed as Ballyleigh, Leamlara, County Cork.
