A GAA Club based in Naas intends to turn a field into grass playing pitch.
Planning permission documents lodged with Kildare County Council show that Eadestown GAA Club intend to make the change to the site located at Eadestown GAA Club in Eadestown, Naas, County Kildare.
The Club is seeking permission for the change of use from an adjacent agricultural field to a natural grass playing pitch.
Planning permission is also being sought for: internal access from existing car park area; additional cark parking spaces; six 18-metre high lighting units; a temporary construction access; ball stop netting; pitch fencing; perimeter walking track; a ball wall and scoreboard.
In addition, the Club intends to upgrade the existing lighting system on the existing natural grass pitch, to include six 18m high lighting units and all associated site works.
The date received is listed as December 12 last, while the submission-by and due dates are listed as January 24, 2024 and February 14, 2024 respectively.
