RIP to the late John Anderson, PJ (Patrick Mooney) and Mary Bergin (née Fitzpatrick).

The death has occurred of John Anderson

St Barbara’s Park, Kildare town, Kildare / Mountgale, Rathmoyle, Kilkenny.

Retired Defence Forces.

Peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Lourdesville Nursing Home, Kildare town.

Son of the late William and Mary-Jo. Brother of the late Tom, Martin, Richard, Michael, Liam and Mary.

Predeceased by his wife Vera Anderson (nee Page).

Sadly missed by his daughters Elaine and Laura, son in law Bryan, daughter in law Doris, brother Pat, sisters Stella, Brigid, Betty and Helen, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May John Rest in Peace.

Reposing at McWey's Funeral Home, Abbeyview, Kildare Town, from 5pm until 8pm on Tuesday with Rosary at 7pm.

Removal by Glennons Funeral Directors on Wednesday morning to arrive at St Brigid's Parish Church, Kildare town, for Requiem Mass at 11am.

Mass will be live streamed on mcnmedia.tv

Burial afterwards in St Conleth's Cemetery, Kildare town.

The death has occurred of PJ (Patrick) Mooney

Celbridge, Kildare / Leixlip, Kildare.

December 28, 2023 at Naas Hospital.

Beloved husband of Bernie, dear father of Leanne and Shannon.

Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, grandchildren Mason and Layla, sons-in-law Mark and Nathan, brother, sisters, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

St Martin's Avenue, Naas, Kildare / Portlaoise, Laois.

In the tender care of the staff of Naas Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of the late Donal (Donie), mother of Donal, James (Jim), Liz, Mary and Ann.

Sadly missed by her family, brothers Mick and Billy, sister Eileen, daughters-in-law Jean and Anne, sons-in-law Jim and Leslie, Liz’s partner Mike, grandchildren Tamara, Luke, Keith, Rebecca, Rachel and Matthew, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at The George Mullins Funeral Home, Kilcullen Road, Naas (eircode W91 CD0K) on Monday from 4pm to 6pm with prayers at 5.30pm.

Funeral on Tuesday with Requiem Mass at 10am in The Church of Our Lady and St David, Naas and afterwards to St Corban's Cemetery, Dublin Road, Naas.

The death has occurred of Catherine (Kitty) Gabbett (née Mulqueen)

Usk, Colbinstown, Kildare, W91P5YX / Mungret, Limerick.

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 30, surrounded by her loving family in Silverstream Nursing Home, Dunlavin, formerly of Usk, Colbinstown, County Kildare and Mungret, County Limerick.

Predeceased by her husband Bob Gabbett and her daughter Rosario.

Sadly missed by her daughters and son, Kathleen, Mary, Gerardine, Patricia, Bernadette, Eileen, Robert and Antoinette, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchild, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Kitty will repose in her daughter Gerardine’s residence Usk, Colbinstown (W91 P5YX) on Sunday evening December 31 from 5pm to 7pm.

Kitty will repose on Monday evening 1st January in Thompson’s Funeral Home, 40 Thomas Street, Limerick, (V94 FT85) from 4.30pm until 6pm.

Arriving at St Nessan's Church, Raheen, County Limerick on Tuesday, January 2, for 11.30am Funeral Mass, (Click here for livestream link).

Followed by burial in Old Mungret Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Maura O'Reilly (née Kenny)

Lucan, Dublin / Leixlip, Kildare.

December 31, 2023, peacefully, at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown, surrounded by her loving family.

Sadly missed by her loving daughters Annette and Caroline, son Martin, daughter-in-law Leone, sons-in-law Andrew and Ciarán, grandchildren Ciara, Kevin, Conor, Shane, Rebecca, Jim, Laura and Clara, brothers Tommy and Richie, sisters Patsy, Bernie, Eileen, Nuala and Clare, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

December 27, 2023 (suddenly) Ann, beloved wife of the late Paddy, cherished mother of Gillian, John and the late Michelle and devoted grandmother of Shannon, Jamie, Jade and Darragh and dear sister of Eileen, Margaret and the late Mary.

Sadly missed by her loving family, daughter-in-law Karen, sons-in-law Daniel and Alex, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

RIP.

Reposing at her residence on Tuesday evening (January 2) from 6pm to 8pm.

Removal to the Church of St Charles Borromeo, Confey, on Wednesday morning (January 3) arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am followed by burial in Confey Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) Lynam

Castetown, Leixlip, Kildare / Mullingar, Westmeath.

In Loving Memory of Paddy Lynam.

Air Corps member and bookmaker, peacefully passed away at home in Spain on December 7.

Beloved husband of Jakki (née Rouiller) and devoted father of Paul, Marcus, Susie and Danielle.

Adored Poppy to Ethan, Mya, and Sienna and Fluffy (The Dog).

Fondly remembered by extended family including Melanie, Darragh and Paul.

Funeral Mass will take place at 1pm on Friday, January 5, at Leixlip Nativity Church, Old Hill, Leixlip, County Kildare.

Towerhill, Borrisokane, Tipperary / Saint Brigid's Terrace, Clane, Kildare.

December 29, 2023.

Louis, a devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully after a short illness so bravely borne in Milford Hospice surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his wife lna, son Richard and brother Kevin, he will be sadly missed by his loving daughters Gemma Nevin and Sandra Markham, sons Jim, Damian and Stephen, brothers Tony, Willie and Noel, sisters Moira, Josie and Monica, his sons in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, great-grandchild and all his extended family and friends.

May He Rest In Peace.

Reposing on Sunday evening December 31 at Sullivan's Funeral Home Main Street Borrisokane from 4pm to 6pm.

Funeral arriving on Monday morning to SS Peter & Paul's Church Borrisokane at 10.15 am for Mass at 10.30 am.

Burial afterwards in Mainham Cemetery, Clane, County Kildare.
