An Garda Síochána is investigating a robbery which took place on Henry Street in Newbridge.
Commenting on the incident, a garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí are investigating an incident of robbery which occurred on Henry Street, Newbridge, County Kildare on Friday, February 9, 2024.
"The incident occurred at approximately 4pm."
The spokesperson continued: "A number of items and a sum of money were taken during the course of the incident."
"Investigations are ongoing," the spokesperson concluded.
