'A wonderful lady, always smiling' - Tributes pour in after passing of beloved mother from Kildare

Christina (Dina) Dillon passed away on Tuesday

Tributes have been pouring in following the passing oof Christina (Dina) Dillon, (nee O'Toole), who died on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Tallaght Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Dina, from St Anthony's, Brannockstown, Naas, Co Kildare, is deeply regretted by her loving husband Tommy, son Ian, daughter Tara, daughter-in- law Catherine, brother Paddy, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Those who knew and remembered Dina have been leaving heartfelt condolences on RIP.ie, with one mourner writing,

"It’s with great sadness that we hear of Dina’s passing she was a wonderful lady always smiling and up for a joke . Our Deepest Sympathies to Tommy, Ian, and Tara. Dina’s dear brother Paddy and all the Dillion and O Toole Families . May she rest in peace and rise in glory now and forever more."

Another wrote,

"Dina was a beautiful soul who always had a smile for anyone she met. We have such fond memories of Dina visiting Harristown and all the divilment she and the women got up to. Sincere condolences to Tommy, Tara and Ian. Say hello to Josie for us. Rest in Peace."

While another simply wrote,

"Sincere sympathy to Tommy, Ian, Tara and Catherine on the passing of my lovely Aunt Dina, we will all miss her, her smile and her laughter very much, may her gentle soul Rest In Peace"

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing at her daughter Tara's residence (Eircode W91 K1H7) on Thursday, Mar4h 15, from 3pm to 8pm with prayers at 7.30pm. Removal from there on Friday, March 15, to the Church of Sacred Heart and St Brigid, Kilcullen, arriving for 2.30pm funeral mass which maybe viewed on https://mcnmedia.tv/Camera/church-of-the-sacred-heart-and-st-brigid-kilcullen followed by burial in St Brigid's Cemetery, Kilcullen.
