A criminal damage incident whic occurred in Clane has prompted a garda investigation.
The incident was discussed by Garda Dave Prendergast on KFM earlier today.
Gda Prendergast said that the incident took place between 1.30pm on 8.30pm on the bank holiday Monday (June 3 last), at a property located on the Prosperous Road.
He explained that an attempted break-in occurred at the house, and added that one door and a number of windows at the property were damaged by the perpetrator.
Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Clane Garda Station on 045 868 262.
When asked about the incident by the Leinster Leader, a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána had this to say: "Gardaí are investigating an incident of criminal damage that occurred at a residence on Prosperous Road in Clane, County Kildare on Monday afternoon, June 3, 2024."
They added: "Enquiries are ongoing."
