UPDATE: Kildare resident accused of causing €4,500 worth of damages to car

A Brownstown resident has been accused of causing around €4,500 worth of criminal damage to a car in Kildare town.

Back in July, gardaí in Naas District Court alleged to Judge Desmond Zaidan that on February 24 last, Michael Dundon, with an address listed as 10 Curragh Downs, Brownstown in The Curragh, grabbed and assaulted a woman at The Silken Thomas in Market Square, Kildare town.

It was also alleged that the 36-year-old threw her phone against a nearby wall.

On the latest court date (Thursday, September 12 last), a further allegation was relayed to Judge Zaidan.

It was heard that the defendant also allegedly caused €4,500 to a car during the same incident.

Judge Zaidan adjourned the case to December 12 for hearing.
