Town's 'busiest litter bin' must be returned

The most used litter bin in a County Kildare town must be put back in place.

Fine Gael councillor Evie Sammon asked when Kildare County Council would restore the bin at the junction on Main Street and Oliver Plunkett Road in Ballymore Eustace.

It was taken away when footpaths were repaired.

“I want the bin back, it’s our busiest bin,” Cllr Sammon said at a Naas Municipal District meeting.

KCC says it will “review the location of the bins in Ballymore Eustace including this location.”

Cllr Sammons added it does not need to be reviewed, pointing out it’s between the pub and the take away food premises.
