'Piecemeal planning' in the Naas area

The creation of infrastructure in Naas is being done on a piecemeal basis, says a local politician.

Fine Gael councillor Evie Sammon said that four pedestrian crossings are still awaited in the Poplar Square area.

She also told a Naas Municipal District meeting that a project to provide cycle lanes, better public transport facilities and improved footpaths along Dublin Road is “ten years away.”
