The Ardscoil Rath Iomgháin school community paid a fond farewell to one of it's most dedicated, talented teachers last Friday as Ms Deirdre Doyle retired after 34 years.
In a statement on the Rathangan school's Facebook page, it said; "As she retires, we celebrate not only the conclusion of a remarkable career but also the countless ways that she has shaped our school community. Her leadership, wisdom, and unwavering dedication have made a lasting impact on staff, students, and families alike.
"She has been a steady guide through challenges, a champion for excellence, and a mentor who has inspired so many. Her calm presence, professionalism, and compassion have set the tone for what true educational leadership looks like. While we will deeply miss her daily presence; her legacy will continue in the culture she has helped to build — one of respect, collaboration, and care.
"On behalf of the entire school community, we want to take this opportunity to thank Ms Doyle for her thirty five years of outstanding service to not only the school, but the local community. We wish her every happiness in her retirement."
