A garda was allegedly assaulted by a woman, Naas District Court was told on Thursday, December 15.
Agnieska Konarzewska, with an address given as 1163 Drogheda Street in Monasterevin, appeared in the courthouse on the date in question, where gardaí executed a bench warrant against her.
The 44-year-old stood accused of assaulting the garda at her home on August 15, 2020.
This alleged offence would be in contravention of Section 2 of the Non-Fatal Offences Against the Person Act, 1997.
Judge Desmond Zaidan remanded the defendant on continuing bail until the case returns to Portlaoise District Court on December 22.
