Gahan family, Kilcullen, open their riverside garden from 2-5pm today in aid of the KWWSPCA Relocation Fund.

Geraldine and Tony Gahan of Kilcullen will host a Bloomsday Garden Party from 2-5pm today, in aid of the KWWSPCA

Geraldine and Tony Gahan of Kilcullen will kindly host a Bloomsday Garden Party at their family home, in aid of the
KWWSPCA. Their garden is located next to the River Liffey and the event will be hosted this afternoon, Sunay June 16,
from 2-5pm. There is no entrance fee - but donations welcome with all proceeds going to the KWWSPCA Relocation Fund.

The KWWSPCA currently has its animal shelter located on the Athgarvan to Twomilehouse road but the landlord has given notice of intent to sell, so the charity is hard at work for the past 6 months trying to raise funds to see another site for purchase/to rent.

Bloomsday celebrates the life of Irish writer James Joyce, with June 16 being the date his
novel Ulysses is set, and more importantly, June 16 was his first date with future wife and the love of his
life, Nora Barnacle.
