Post mortem carried out on Clane road accident victim

The accident scene in Clane

A post mortem examination has been carried out on the body of the elderly woman who died in a road accident in Clane yesterday afternoon.

Cora Perry, 88,  lived in the Abbey Park Court area of the town.

The accident took place shortly before 1pm as Ms Perry, a widow, was crossing the main street.

The post mortem took place at  Naas General Hospital today.
