No money to re-design road on way into this Kildare village

Work is needed because of a number of incidents

Park proposed for Aras Chill Dara site in Naas

Kildare County Council does not have the funding

There is no money available to re-design an approach road to Nurney village.

Local councillor Brian Dooley asked that the council redesigns the bend on the road as you enter the village of Nurney, from the Kildare Town side."

The route, known as the R415, has been the scene of a "large number of incidents," said the councillor.

However, Kildare County Council indicated it does do not have funding or resources available to "carry out a scheme of this nature at the present time."
