'Way too fast' - Learner biker fined for speeding in Kildare

The Naas Roads Policing Unit recently operated a speed check on the L2007 Straffan, in Co Kildare
They detected a Learner motorcyclist travelling at speed of 110 KM/H in 60 Limit while not wearing a fluorescent L tabard.
Naas Gardaí said: "This speed is way too fast in this Zone. Please slow down."
A Fixed Penalty Charge Notice of €280 was issued as well as three Penalty Points.
Meanwhile the Naas Road Policing Unit also operated a checkpoint at Ardclough recently.
Gardaí stopped a car and and it emerged that the driver was disqualified, and had No Insurance or Driving Licence.
The driver also tested positive for Cannabis and was arrested for Drug Driving. The vehicle was also impounded.
This offender will now appear in court.
