Major €15m apartment plan on Kildare's doorstep

A total of 69 apartments are being planned in Blessington, on the Kildare border. 

The proposed €15m development is earmarked for Santry Hill in the town. 

A planning application was submitted to Wicklow County Council by Kelland Homes Limited.

Being planned are 69 residential dwellings in a mix of 35 2-3 storey terraced houses, 17 2-bed apartments and 17 3-bed duplex units.

Solar panels are planned on the roofs of all houses and duplex blocks.

The designs feature public, communal and private open space and public lighting. 

Being planned are 132 surface car parking spaces and 92 bicycle parking spaces.

There will be vehicular, cycle and pedestrian site access via the Blessington Inner Relief Road.
